Spooky SurfingΒ Be sure to visit in October for the annual costume surfing contests. There are two age groups, 12 and under and 13 and upβ€”prizes for best costume and style. There are a couple of these. One is wearing a costume while surfing a surfboard. The other is to surf on anything but an actual surfboard. Floaties come in all shapes and sizes and can be used as your surfing vessel. There are awards for the longest ride, biggest style, and most β€œsurfers” on.
