Port Aransas 4th of July Fireworks Guide
One of the best things about Port Aransas? No matter where you are, you’ll likely catch a glimpse of the fireworks! The fireworks show is at dusk, so you can expect it to be around 9 pm. But if you want the best view, here’s the scoop:
Roberts Point Park is the go-to spot.
The fireworks begin at dusk (around 9 PM), and Roberts Point Park offers an unbeatable front-row seat. Come early! The Cleartones Band will be playing live from 5–7 PM on the park stage to kick off the evening.
This park has it all—plenty of green space, a brand-new playground, clean bathrooms, and wide-open views of the marina. Bring your beach chairs or a blanket, and plan ahead because parking will fill up fast!
Parking Tips
If you’re in a pinch, there’s public parking on Port St. across from the ferry staging area. Just be prepared to walk a bit.
Sip Yard
The new Sip Yard is offering its upper level for Firework viewing. The 2nd level at the Sip Yard is 21+ only and would be a great option for adults wanting a laid-back, elevated experience.
️ Dinner With a View
Snag a patio table at one of the marina-facing restaurants like Fins, Trout Street Bar & Grill, Virginia’s on the Bay, or Grumbles. You’ll enjoy great food and a spectacular show over the water.
On-the-Water Viewing
Several dolphin cruise companies turn their evening tours into floating firework-viewing parties. Check out:
-
Fisherman’s Wharf
-
Dolphin Dock
-
Neptune’s Charters
-
Deep Sea Headquarters
-
Red Dragon Pirate Cruise
North Station Street Pier
Want a quieter view? Head to the fishing pier at the end of N. Station St. It’s not as close but still offers a cool angle. Bring a chair and some snacks—it’s a hidden gem!
REMINDER: No Personal Fireworks Allowed
Shooting off your own fireworks is illegal in Port A. The dunes are extremely dry, and our local wildlife—and limited water resources—need to be protected. Please help keep Port A safe and beautiful.
