We caught the Harvest Moon at peak illumination, and this year's Harvest Moon is also a Supermoon!

🌚🌟A Supermoon, according to NASA is when a full moons orbit is closest to earth and appears brighter and larger than a regular full moon at approx 226,000 miles from earth.

🌚🌟The Harvest Moon is the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox and appears to be a full moon for nearly 3 nights in a row. ✨️

Parade, Chili Cook-Off, Any Floats but a Boat Race, US Coast Guard helicopter and demonstration, Market, Bounce Houses, and Live Music all day!

Bring the whole family for a fun-filled day!

Parade: Starts 11 AM at THE corner of Ave G / Alister ending at Roberts Point Park

Free Entry- LINEUP Starts AT 1030 in Islander Parking lot Questions: Jade 361-332-9887

Chili COOK-OFF

$100 per team - Funds support Local EMS.

Set up as early as 6 AM : Judging 2-4 PM

Anything that Floats

Anything that floats but a boat race. get creative and build your own boat and you will have a short race across the marina. Various age groups. Zack 361-428-2267

US Coast Guard

US Coast Guard helicopter will land at 1130 and will be available for viewing. They will do a rescue demonstration at 1 pm
