History of Harvest Moon Regatta

 

The Harvest Moon Regatta is an offshore sailboat race from Galveston, Texas and ends with a party in Port Aransas Texas.  The Harvest Moon Regatta has been hosted by Lakewood Yacht Club, located in Galveston, every October since 1987.  

Sail Boat Tracking

 

Boats leave Galveston on the Thursday of the event weekend and race toward Port Aransas, Texas. Boats usually begin arriving in the Port Aransas Marina as early as 4 AM on Friday through till Saturday morning.

Come out and join the party! Once they get close be sure to come out to Roberts Point Park and the City Marina to watch and cheer them on as they get to the finish line!
